Portraits

Anybody can have taken his or her photo by a professional photographer. The result is mostly quite satisfactory and sometimes even fascinating. However if you decide for a portrait done by an artist, there will be much more than you in the picture. As an artist I will try to capture your image, but that is not enough. I will try very hard to catch your personality. I will choose a background and - very important - colors which will help to express YOU. Whether you have a lively character or are a quiet person, whether you want a glamourous and representative painting or just a very personal image of yourself,  I will to catch that part of you, which is most important.

An interview where you establish your wishes, will be followed by photos made of you, and you will choose the photo which in your eyes shows you best. Then comes my artistic interpretation. To paint a portrait takes me about 2 months.
